Geriatric Fracture Program at Rhode Island Hospital
The Geriatric Fracture Program at Rhode Island Hospital is specifically designed to address the needs of elderly patients who have suffered a fracture, particularly a hip fracture. The program, the first of its kind in the region, is collaboration among the departments of orthopedic surgery, emergency medicine and the division of geriatric medicine, and involves specialists in numerous disciplines who address the factors that contributed to a patient’s fracture and their impact on recovery. Inpatient Elder Behavioral Health Services (EBHS) Unit at Morton Hospital
The EBHS Unit at Morton Hospital in Taunton, MA provides a multidisciplinary, integrative approach for treating older adults – age 55 and over – with behavioral, psychiatric, or neuropsychiatric difficulties that require hospitalization.
