Our outpatient services include a range of evidence-based group therapy programs for children, teens and parents:

  • BALANCE Program
    BALANCE is a 16-week after-school program that aims to help young people and their families learn how thinking and feeling can affect everyday behaviors, and how movement and nutrition affect well-being.
  • iFriend: A Social Skills Group
    iFriend helps children 8-to-11 years old to build friendship skills, practice conversation, and learn to cope with challenges through structured lessons, activities and games.
  • Incredible Years: Positive Parenting for Challenging Kids
    Incredible Years is a skill building course for parents to learn effective ways to help children with behavior challenges to calm down, follow directions and get along with others.
  • Mindful Teen
    The Mindful Teen Skills Group is a 14-week multi-family skills-based group utilizing a dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) informed approach. The group aims to help individuals effectively manage their emotional experiences to live healthier and more satisfying lives.
  • Parent Training for Disruptive Behaviors in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
    The six-week course, offered several times per year, teaches caregivers of school-age children with autism spectrum disorder behavior intervention strategies to manage disruptive behavior.

  • PEERS Social Skills Group
    This 14-week program for 12- to 17-year-olds with autism spectrum disorder and/or social challenges teaches important life skills, such as handling conflict and making friends.
  • Psychoeducational Psychotherapy (PEP) Parent Therapy Group
    The evidence-based PEP Group provides parents with psychoeducation on childhood mood disorder symptoms, course of the disorder, and effective treatments. The group also teaches positive parenting strategies for managing children’s mood and behavior, and addresses parent-specific coping and self-care strategies.
  • Teen Anxiety Group (TAG)
    TAG uses cognitive behavior therapy to help teens overcome anxiety, stress and worry so that they can achieve the life they want.
