Summer Cookouts

A hidden gem at Hasbro Children’s, our beautiful Balise Healing Garden is the site of weekly summer cookouts for children and families in the hospital. A breath of fresh air and sunshine can do a world of good for anyone, especially a hospitalized child. 

Weekly cookouts run from 12 to 1 p.m. beginning in late June through early September. Families join us for freshly grilled food, crafts, games and the simple joy that camaraderie can bring. 

Your sponsorship helps to provide nourishing meals to all patient families, engaging activities, and fun entertainment. Our summer cookouts have become a highlight of the week for children in the hospital.
