Why Is a Good Night's Sleep Important?

Sleep can affect all aspects of our daily lives. A good night’s sleep can lower your risk for high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, depression, diabetes, and obesity. Sleeping at night and still having a hard time during the day with excessive sleepiness, falling asleep at random, or just not feeling rested, a sleep study can help give you a diagnosis that can improve your overall life and health.

"Along with nutrition and exercise, sleep is one of the three pillars of a healthy lifestyle. Healthy sleep improves your health and quality of life in a variety of ways. Healthy sleep involves making the right choices to prioritize and protect sleep." - American Academy of Sleep Medicine

Home Sleep Testing

Home sleep tests are easy to use and allow the patient the comfort of sleeping in their own bed. At our sleep lab, you will come in during the day, we will review the equipment that is going home with you and answer any questions that you might have.

In-Lab Sleep Testing

In-lab sleep testing for polysomnography, positive airway pressure titrations, maintenance of wakefulness test (MWT) and multiple sleep latency testing (MSLT). For night sleep testing, you are asked to arrive at our sleep lab between 7:30 and 8:30 pm. Once you’ve arrived, you will be escorted to your private room, complete with cable TV and a private bathroom and shower. A detailed explanation of the sleep test process will be furnished prior to the test, with all your questions answered.
