Our new location starting on March 31, 2025 will be 900 Warren Avenue, Suite 400, in East Providence. We will join Warren Avenue Primary Care at their practice, still part of Brown Health Medical Group Primary Care (formerly Coastal Medical). Please read our FAQs below to learn more.

What is happening?

Our East Providence Family Medicine team will join our Warren Avenue Primary Care team at their practice, still part of Brown Health Medical Group Primary Care (formerly Coastal Medical). Also, our practice’s name will change to Warren Avenue Primary Care.

When is the move occurring?

March 31, 2025

Why is the practice moving?

By joining our two practices, we are able to increase patient access to primary care services and offer an on-site Brown University Health laboratory and medical imaging center.

What happens to patient appointments on/after the move date?

All appointments on or after the move date will be held at the new location.

Will primary care clinicians change due to this move?

No. Our patients’ primary care clinicians will not change due to this move.

All clinicians from East Providence Family Medicine are moving to the new location, including:

Will the phone or fax numbers change?

After the move, patients should contact us at the Warren Avenue Primary Care practice:

Sick? Call Us First. Same-day Sick Visits by Appointment
Sick visit appointments may take place in-person or through telehealth. 

  • Pediatric sick visits are available during and after office hours 365 days a year.
  • Adult sick visits are available at our office (during office hours) or through Care365 (evenings, weekends and holidays). Note: Care365 is NOT a walk-in clinic, appointments are required. 

About Our Practice
Our practice provides comprehensive pediatric, adolescent, adult (including women's health), and senior medical services. As an Osteopathic physician, Joyce Alves, DO, also provides manipulation for various ailments to their patients.
