Bradley Hospital’s Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities has four residential treatment options in Rhode Island for children and adolescents, ages 8 to 21, who present with chronic behavior disorders of varying degrees, in addition to a developmental disability.

Hill House

Fruit Hill, North Providence, RI

  • Boys and girls
  • Ages 12 to 21, with severe autism spectrum disorders
  • Intensive one-on-one care to ensure maximum benefit from services and ensure personal safety

Heritage House

Warwick, RI

  • Boys and girls
  • Ages 12 to 21, with mild intellectual disability, Asperger’s syndrome, and mild to moderate behavior disorders
  • 8 beds
  • 2 to 1 student to clinical staff ratio, with an emphasis on preparing students for transition to independent living

Rumford House

Rumford (East Providence), RI

  • Boys ages 12 to 21, with mild intellectual disability, Asperger’s syndrome, and mild to moderate behavior disorders
  • 8 beds
  • 2 to 1 student to clinical staff ratio, with an emphasis on preparation for transition to independent living in young adulthood

Exeter House

Exeter, RI

  • Boys and girls ages 9 to 14, with autism spectrum disorder and/or intellectual disability, as well as a mild to moderate behavior disorder 
  • Successful reunification with the family within one year
