Selection is based upon your needs and preferences. Search results will first present, in alphabetical order, physicians employed or contracted with Brown University Health or its affiliates, followed by an alphabetical listing of physicians who are in Brown University Health’s network of affiliated providers. At the end of that initial list, you can access an alphabetical listing of community physicians with privileges at Brown University Health hospitals. All physicians in Find a Doctor have the opportunity to have a picture or video posted on the site. Neither the order of physicians, nor the presence or absence of a photo or video, in Find a Doctor is intended to reflect any preference, priority, or recommendation by Brown University Health. Find a Doctor search results are also not based on the volume or value of referrals to Brown University Health or its affiliates from any listed physician. Users are free to select their physician of choice from among all Brown University Health-affiliated medical staff physicians.

Viren A. D'Sa, MD
Director, Division of Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics, Hasbro Children’s Hospital
Viren D’Sa, MD, is director of the division of developmental behavioral pediatrics at Hasbro Children’s and an associate professor of pediatrics and clinician educator at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
Dr. D’Sa received a dual bachelor of medicine/bachelor of surgery degree from K.J. Somaiya Medical College in Mumbai, India. He completed his residency at Cook County Children’s Hospital in Chicago, followed by a fellowship in developmental behavioral pediatrics at Rhode Island and Hasbro Children’s hospitals.
His research interests include how exposure to environmental factors during early development affects the health of children and adolescents.
Dr. D’Sa is a member of the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and the Section on Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics of the American Academy of Pediatrics, among other professional organizations.
