Search results will first present, in alphabetical order, physicians employed or contracted with Brown University Health or its affiliates, followed by an alphabetical listing of physicians who are in Brown University Health’s network of affiliated providers. At the end of that initial list, you can access an alphabetical listing of community physicians with privileges at Brown University Health hospitals. All physicians in Find a Doctor have the opportunity to have a picture or video posted on the site. Neither the order of physicians, nor the presence or absence of a photo or video, in Find a Doctor is intended to reflect any preference, priority, or recommendation by Brown University Health. Find a Doctor search results are also not based on the volume or value of referrals to Brown University Health or its affiliates from any listed physician. Thomas A. Ollila, MD
Hematologist-Oncologist
Thomas A. Ollila, MD, is a hematologist/oncologist at Brown University Health Cancer Institute who focuses on lymphoma, including primary central nervous system lymphoma. He is also the medical director of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma clinic. He earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in hematology/oncology at Rhode Island Hospital.
Dr. Ollila's research interests include translational and clinical outcomes in lymphoma. In 2018, he was given the Conquer Cancer Foundation Merit Award by the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society, the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Outside of clinical practice, he is an associate program director of the hematology/oncology fellowship and director of fellowship research.
