Selection is based upon your needs and preferences. Search results will first present, in alphabetical order, physicians employed or contracted with Brown University Health or its affiliates, followed by an alphabetical listing of physicians who are in Brown University Health’s network of affiliated providers. At the end of that initial list, you can access an alphabetical listing of community physicians with privileges at Brown University Health hospitals. All physicians in Find a Doctor have the opportunity to have a picture or video posted on the site. Neither the order of physicians, nor the presence or absence of a photo or video, in Find a Doctor is intended to reflect any preference, priority, or recommendation by Brown University Health. Find a Doctor search results are also not based on the volume or value of referrals to Brown University Health or its affiliates from any listed physician. Users are free to select their physician of choice from among all Brown University Health-affiliated medical staff physicians.

Roberta Lui, MD
Physiatrist
Roberta Lui, MD is a board-certified physiatrist with Brown Health Medical Group Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Lui sees patients at Newport Hospital's acute inpatient rehabilitation unit (IRU) in the Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center. She has additional experience with post-stroke, traumatic brain injury, and post-polytrauma care.
Prior to joining Brown University Health, Dr. Lui was an attending physiatrist with WellStar Health System in Marietta, Georgia. Previously, she was a physiatrist with Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains, New York.
Dr. Lui earned her medical degree at St. George’s University, Grenada through a Legacy of Excellence Scholarship. She completed an internship at SUNY-Upstate Medical University and a residency at Montefiore Medical School, both in New York.
She holds certifications from Allergan in Botox injection for treatment of chronic migraines and severe musculoskeletal spasticity; from the International Society of Regenerative Medicine MSK Regenerative Medicine and Ultrasound Training; and from the American Institute of Balance certification in vestibular rehabilitation and concussion.
Dr. Lui is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Association of Academic Physiatrists, and the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine.
