Micheline Anderson, PhD, is a psychologist at Brown Health Medical Group Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also a clinical instructor in the department of psychiatry and human behavior at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Anderson earned her doctor of philosophy degree in clinical psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. She then completed her internship in clinical psychology and her postdoctoral fellowship in perinatal mood disorders through the clinical psychology training program at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Clinically, Dr. Anderson specializes in perinatal psychology and provides individual treatment with integrated behavioral health at Brown Health Medical Group Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has a particular interest in treating patients with perinatal obsessive-compulsive disorders, health anxiety, and stress and distress in the context of pelvic pain and chronic illnesses. Dr. Anderson’s research interests include the intersection of perinatal mental and physical health, resilience and risk for stress across the reproductive lifespan, and the utility of mind-body intervention to reduce intergenerational effects of obstetric complications.
