Maritza Esther Feliz Cepin, MD

Maritza Esther Feliz Cepin, MD, is a pediatric neurologist at Hasbro Children’s.

Prior to joining Hasbro Children’s, Dr. Feliz was the director of the Pediatric Epilepsy Program at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, in Lebanon, New Hampshire, where she was also an assistant professor of pediatrics and neurology.

Dr. Feliz was a primary care physician in the Dominican Republic before directing her focus towards medical education. She held several academic positions including assistant professor of morphological sciences with Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra, Dominican Republic.

Dr. Feliz holds a doctor in medicine degree from Pontifica Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra, Dominican Republic. She completed an internship in pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery and internal medicine at Hospital Regional Universitario Jose Maria Cabral y Baez. She pursued a residency in pediatrics at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in New York. Dr. Feliz also completed two fellowships, one in pediatric epilepsy that she pursued at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and another in pediatric neurology with Tufts Medical Center in Boston, where she was also chief fellow.

She is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Neurology, the Child Neurology Society, and the American Epilepsy Society.

Dr. Feliz is fluent in Spanish and English.
