Selection is based upon your needs and preferences. Search results will first present, in alphabetical order, physicians employed or contracted with Brown University Health or its affiliates, followed by an alphabetical listing of physicians who are in Brown University Health’s network of affiliated providers. At the end of that initial list, you can access an alphabetical listing of community physicians with privileges at Brown University Health hospitals. All physicians in Find a Doctor have the opportunity to have a picture or video posted on the site. Neither the order of physicians, nor the presence or absence of a photo or video, in Find a Doctor is intended to reflect any preference, priority, or recommendation by Brown University Health. Find a Doctor search results are also not based on the volume or value of referrals to Brown University Health or its affiliates from any listed physician. Users are free to select their physician of choice from among all Brown University Health-affiliated medical staff physicians.

Justin Y. Li, MD
Attending Physician
Justin Y. Li, MD is a pain medicine physician at the Norman Prince Spine Institute, and is an assistant professor of neurosurgery at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, and completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Maryland Medical Center and his fellowship in pain medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Dr. Li is board certified in both anesthesiology as well as in pain medicine.
Dr. Li has a special interest in spinal cord stimulation and medical education, and is involved in research in neuromodulation. He is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and is the secretary of the Rhode Island Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
