Jennifer A. Herren, PhD

Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Jennifer Herren is a staff psychologist and the Associate Director of the Pediatric Anxiety Research Center (PARC). She is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. 

Dr. Herren earned her PhD from the University of Texas at Austin and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Judge Baker Children's Center and Harvard University.

Her clinical expertise is in the treatment of pediatric OCD and anxiety using exposure therapy.

Dr. Herren’s research focuses on enhancing therapist training for exposure therapy in community settings and developing pathways for equitable access to exposure-based therapy using a team-based treatment model delivered in the home and community settings.
