Selection is based upon your needs and preferences. Search results will first present, in alphabetical order, physicians employed or contracted with Brown University Health or its affiliates, followed by an alphabetical listing of physicians who are in Brown University Health’s network of affiliated providers. At the end of that initial list, you can access an alphabetical listing of community physicians with privileges at Brown University Health hospitals. All physicians in Find a Doctor have the opportunity to have a picture or video posted on the site. Neither the order of physicians, nor the presence or absence of a photo or video, in Find a Doctor is intended to reflect any preference, priority, or recommendation by Brown University Health. Find a Doctor search results are also not based on the volume or value of referrals to Brown University Health or its affiliates from any listed physician. Users are free to select their physician of choice from among all Brown University Health-affiliated medical staff physicians.

Hsi-Yang Wu, MD
Director of Pediatric Urology, Hasbro Children's
Hsi-Yang Wu, MD is the director of pediatric urology at Hasbro Children’s and a professor of surgery (urology) and pediatrics at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Wu is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and he completed a urology residency at the University of California, San Francisco. He also completed a pediatric urology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Wu served as faculty at the University of Pittsburgh and Stanford, prior to joining the staff at Brown University Health. Dr. Wu was program director of the Stanford Pediatric Urology Fellowship from 2008-2020.
Dr. Wu's interests include translating basic science findings into new treatments for urinary incontinence, optimizing radiographic evaluation for urinary tract infections, and educating residents. He has published over 50 papers and 25 book chapters, and currently serves as co-editor of the Basic Science section of the Journal of Pediatric Urology.
