Erin Kunkel, MD, FACOG is a board-certified OB/GYN and fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists She received her Bachelor's degree in theater from Middlebury College. She then completed a post-baccalaureate program at Columbia University and went on to attend the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Health System where she served as administrative chief resident.
She returned to Rhode Island in 2017 to join Brown University Health Obstetrics and Gynecology Services. In 2022, she completed a professional training in Functional and Integrative Women's Medicine. Her interests include hysteroscopy, breastfeeding and postpartum care, hormonal health, menopause, and weight management. She is a clinical assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Brown University. She is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
She is proficient in Spanish.
