Selection is based upon your needs and preferences. Search results will first present, in alphabetical order, physicians employed or contracted with Brown University Health or its affiliates, followed by an alphabetical listing of physicians who are in Brown University Health’s network of affiliated providers. At the end of that initial list, you can access an alphabetical listing of community physicians with privileges at Brown University Health hospitals. All physicians in Find a Doctor have the opportunity to have a picture or video posted on the site. Neither the order of physicians, nor the presence or absence of a photo or video, in Find a Doctor is intended to reflect any preference, priority, or recommendation by Brown University Health. Find a Doctor search results are also not based on the volume or value of referrals to Brown University Health or its affiliates from any listed physician. Users are free to select their physician of choice from among all Brown University Health-affiliated medical staff physicians.

http://www.brownmed.orgAndrew Musits, MD, MS, is the director of the Brown University Health Medical Simulation Center and has been caring for patients in the emergency department for nearly a decade. Dr. Musits remains on the front lines of patient care at both Rhode Island and The Miriam hospitals. He is an assistant professor of emergency medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and director of the Medical Simulation Fellowship at Brown Emergency Medicine. Prior to joining the Brown University Health team three years ago, he served as the director of patient safety education for the Winter Institute for Simulation, Education, and Research (WISER), the simulation center at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is fellowship trained in simulation, with a Masters degree in medical education. Dr. Musits’ passion is improving patient care and patient safety through innovative and engaging education for clinicians at all levels.
