Vernoe Wonmei earned a bachelor of science degree in public health from Johnson and Wales University. Before joining Brown University Health, he worked in educational settings with elementary- to college-age students, developing a strong foundation in mentoring and supervising staff. As an alumni support assistant, he ensured student safety, conducted mental health check-ins, and coordinated support services, including initiatives focused on physical wellness, financial literacy, and career preparation.
Wonmei is dedicated to fostering positive environments and supporting student success through innovative educational strategies. His passion for education and community engagement drives his work. In his current role at Brown University Health, which he joined in 2024, he uses his extensive experience to coordinate the Workforce Development Pharmacy Technician and Sterile Processing Technician programs. He is committed to aligning program strategies with organizational needs and contributing to Brown University Health’s mission of promoting health and well-being.
