Sonia Depina, MSN, RN, PCCN-K, NPD-BC, is an advanced practice manager (APM) with the center the Center for Professional Practice and Innovation at Rhode Island Hospital. She earned a Master of Science degree in nursing education from Walden University and her undergraduate nursing degree from Rhode Island College. She is certified in both progressive care nursing and nursing professional development.
Depina is a designated American Heart Association faculty member affiliated with the Brown University Health Community Training Center and an active member in many committees and initiatives at Rhode Island Hospital and Brown University Health System. She is passionate about professional development and mentoring the next generation of nurses.
