Samuel Kaplan is the patient transition coordinator at Brown University Health Addiction Medicine, where he works with patients to connect them to treatments and resources in the community.
With a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, Kaplan pursued his interest in science with a career in research. Prior to joining Brown University Health Addiction Medicine, he was a clinical research assistant with Brown University Health’s department of emergency medicine. He has held research assistant and technician positions at several healthcare organizations in the Northeast including Cambridge Health Alliance, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Massachusetts General Hospital.
