Kyle MacGovern, LMHC, ATR (she/her), is a mental health counselor and art therapist. MacGovern earned her undergraduate degree from Assumption College in Worcester, MA, where she majored in graphic design. Through her interest in mental health and art she discovered art therapy. From there, MacGovern went on the received her master's degree in mental health counseling, and art therapy from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA.
MacGovern has worked in a variety of settings, including day treatment centers and school systems. She is currently working with the Adolescent Inpatient Units; Center of Autism and development Disabilities partial programs; and adolescent partial and residentials programs. MacGovern believes when utilizing creative expression combine with a safe, and appropriate space can help an individual understand and process ideas and emotions in ways they may not even be aware of previously.
