Darlynn Rojo-Wissar, PhD, MPH

Psychiatric Epidemiologist

Darlynn Rojo-Wissar is a psychiatric epidemiologist and Childhood Stress, Trauma, and Resilience (STAR) T32 postdoctoral research fellow at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where she works with Stephanie Parade, PhD, and Mary Carskadon, PhD. She received a BA in psychology and MPH in maternal and child health from the University of Arizona, and a PhD in psychiatric epidemiology from Johns Hopkins.

Her research interests involve mechanistic studies examining effects of early life exposures on sleep and health across the lifespan, the role of sleep in the development and exacerbation of health issues in individuals with early life adversity, and translational research focus on improving sleep and health in the context of early life adversity.
