Christine Bonin, MSN, RN, NRP, is the advanced practice manager of LifePACT at Rhode Island Hospital.
Bonin earned her bachelor of science from Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island. She then earned her associate in science in nursing from the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) in Warwick, Rhode Island, and then went on to earn her bachelor of science in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Illinois. She completed the registered nurse (RN) to paramedic bridge certification program at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Bonin then earned her master of science in nursing education from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
As the advanced practice manager of LifePACT at Rhode Island Hospital, Bonin collaborates with the leadership team to develop and orchestrate education and quality improvement plans focusing on industry best practice and performance standards. She works with multidisciplinary teams to foster relationships, innovative solutions, and organization growth; reviews, promotes, and interprets the use of current literature to drive education and quality enhancement goals, utilizing clinical experience to guide and coach staff, among many other things.
Most recently, Bonin worked as a LIFE STAR flight nurse for Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. She also worked as a cardio thoracic intensive care unit registered nurse at Rhode Island Hospital, an emergency department registered nurse at Rhode Island Hospital, and an emergency services registered nurse at Kent Hospital in Warwick, Rhode Island.
