Search results will first present, in alphabetical order, physicians employed or contracted with Brown University Health or its affiliates, followed by an alphabetical listing of physicians who are in Brown University Health’s network of affiliated providers. At the end of that initial list, you can access an alphabetical listing of community physicians with privileges at Brown University Health hospitals. All physicians in Find a Doctor have the opportunity to have a picture or video posted on the site. Neither the order of physicians, nor the presence or absence of a photo or video, in Find a Doctor is intended to reflect any preference, priority, or recommendation by Brown University Health. Find a Doctor search results are also not based on the volume or value of referrals to Brown University Health or its affiliates from any listed physician. Users are free to select their physician of choice from among all Brown University Health-affiliated medical staff physicians.

Daniel Horim Choi, MD
Pediatric Intensivist
Daniel Choi, MD, is a physician with Brown University Health pediatric critical care services and an assistant professor of pediatrics at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He received his bachelor of science degree from Northwestern University and his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School. He completed his pediatrics residency at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and his pediatric critical care fellowship at Children's National Hospital, George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Dr. Choi has research experience in oxidative stress and ascorbic acid in critically ill children and red cell deformability in pediatric sickle cell disease. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
