Christopher Holland is senior vice president of neurosurgery, neurology, adult psychology and behavioral health, rehabilitation, physical medicine and rehabilitation at Brown University Health. Holland joined Brown University Health from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Health, where he held a system role leading rehabilitation services, neurodiagnostic services, was responsible for the system’s neurosciences service line, as well as the site administrator for one of the hospital campuses in San Francisco. 

At UCSF Health, he developed and implemented an adult neurology and neurosurgery strategy across the system, including UCSF provider placement at five regional affiliate hospitals. He facilitated and enhanced the continuum of care for all neurosciences patients, focusing on operational improvements and efficiencies. He also reopened and ran a hospital in response to the COVID pandemic, later converting it into an orthopedic specialty hospital.
