At the end of that initial list, you can access an alphabetical listing of community physicians with privileges at Brown University Health hospitals. All physicians in Find a Doctor have the opportunity to have a picture or video posted on the site. Neither the order of physicians, nor the presence or absence of a photo or video, in Find a Doctor is intended to reflect any preference, priority, or recommendation by Brown University Health. Find a Doctor search results are also not based on the volume or value of referrals to Brown University Health or its affiliates from any listed physician. Users are free to select their physician of choice from among all Brown University Health-affiliated medical staff physicians.

Thanujaa Subramaniam, MD, is a board-certified neurologist and neurocritical care physician at Rhode Island Hospital.
Dr. Subramaniam received her medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. She completed a residency in neurology at the University of Wisconsin, followed by a fellowship in neurocritical care at Yale University.
She has authored numerous research papers and book chapters in the field of neurocritical care. Her areas of interest include traumatic brain injury, intracranial hemorrhage, brain injury post cardiac arrest, and advanced neuromonitoring in critically ill patients. Dr. Subramaniam leads several committees and is a member of the Neurocritical Care Society, Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the American Academy of Neurology.
